MR aztec gold

I hve the set of two, an I am modifying them by removing the loop for the necklace and restoring the zone.
Compared with some pictures of the "taken from the same mold" fans replicas, I see diferences, specially in the eyebrows of the skull. What do you think?

the coins are not hero coins but background versions.
The movie had a few versions of the coins.

One the necklace "one side" with a flat back. The face was the skull side. Also the jump ring for the coin to necklace is oval and not round.

Two Hero coin with skull on one side and "Aztec design" on the other.

Three Hero coin with skull on both sides.

Four a Hero coin with skull on both sides but with the thickness of three layers...


The hero coins with "Aztec design" side also had more detail in the pattern squiggle and outer circles

Well, I might be able to help you out there augofett. I happen to have both the MR coin and a screen used coin. Forgive the quality and size of the picture....

MR on the left and a screen used coin on the right. To me, both are similar in size and details but if you look closely, the skull on the MR coin is slightly smaller than the screen used coin. Also, the dimple on the head is very different but the one thing that bothers me the most is the top of the mouth... It's noticably crooked.

I'll post better pictures later but this gives you a quick comparson.

I like your picture roboprop.
There I can see the differences quite clear.
was the MR replica done from scratch or, as Megatron says they are stunt versuions?
Of course new pictures are welcome..

From what MR says on it's box, it's cast from a real movie coin but I think they alter the details just a bit so it's not 100% exact but close enough.
