Hello there =)
A friend of mine,who owns several Star Wars models,gave me an old MPC Falcon model,which has been left on a shelf for 20 years,asking me to simply repaint it,without bothering about adding details and things like that.
He asked to paint it with Return of the Jedi paint scheme,which should be the same as ESB.
I have inserted a couple of pics to show you the model as it is now.
It is not in good shape,i will have to deassemble it,clean all the old glue and then reassemble it.
Since there are no interior details i will paint the clear parts black,fortunately the model has never been painted so i will not have to remove old paint from the surface.
Even if the owner did not ask for additional details i would like to add the engine exhaust grid on the back of the falcon,is there someone here who has some reference? I was thinking about using 1.5 mm styrene strips but i don't know the dimension of the grid sections.
Also,are there websites with pictures of the 32'' falcon model? They would be excellent as a guide for painting the details and weathering.

p.s. if you notice some parts missing from the bottom of the kit please let me know,i'm not familiar with this particular mpc kit and the instruction sheet is no longer there.
