Movie/TV knife discussion thread

To the recent info thread on knifes - here you can discuss and post questions regarding any aspect of knifes.

Here's a long shot if there are any CSI fans here. In the ninth season episode "Descent of Man", near the end of the episode, while he's out in the desert, Dr. Langston uses his pocket knife to move a tortoise shell. Although it was only a quick shot, the shape of the blade suggested it might have been a Laguiole-style knife. Because of a personal interest in French knives, I wonder if anyone knows what knife was in fact used or if anyone may have a screencap of the knife. Thanks.

I have the folowing knifes and I would like to know if thay where at all used or used in the production of any movie or Tv show?

The Gil Hibbens: Silver Shadow, Dragon Lord, Griffyn, and Eye of Drakonus?

Also where can I find a replica of the knife that was used in the Star Trek Enterprise two part episode In a Mirror Darkly, the crew caryed around based on the TOS Mirror Mirror? Is it a found item or custom? I read it is not of the same design as the TOS Dagger.

I was always a fan of Jack Crain and the knives he designed.

Still have my Predator machete he made for me before the movie hit the Screen.

A shame he turned into a scam artist. :unsure

Also had a Lile First Blood knife Jimmy made for me in the early 80's

Always regretted selling that one.
