Movie theaters playing older movies

Most of those old movies, I don't care for, but I do like The L'il Rascals. Does that count?

I believe they were comedy shorts and not feature films.

Sure does! When I was very young, like before 10, I loved Abbott and Costello, the Universal horror series, and serials like Flash Gordon.

Alien Special Edition? Whoa!

I think this is the one with extended dialogue between Ripley and Hicks, and it has the "gun turret" scene in it. Doesn't add a great amount to the film, but more Aliens is always good....

They played Ghostbusters last week, which was a real treat to see in theaters. This week will be kind of a full plate for me, as they are playing Empire Strikes Back, The Two Towers (extended!), and The Dark Knight. I am excited. Three great middle act films all in one week. Unfortunately, they don’t seem to be playing the other two films from the OT, although they are playing all of the Dark Knight Trilogy and the LOTR trilogy.

Got to see Empire, Raiders, and Dark Knight last week. Amazing to see all of those back on the big screen.
