Some of you manned-mission fans may remember the 1985 colas-in-space Carbonated Beverage Dispenser Evaluation experiment flown on the Challenger?

Read in the paper today that Friday's Endeavour launch is bringing a refrigerator to the ISS for the first time for food storage, so our boys up there can enjoy cold OJ for breakfast for the first time ever.
Some of you may also remember my post in OT about my graphic novel Astronauts in Trouble getting picked for the Top 50 graphic novels for The Rough Guide to Graphic Novels, and how I was so damn happy I sent around hardcovers to anyone here who wanted one? Well, if you've read it, you'll remember that while the Channel Seven News Team is prematurely rocketing to the moon after their story of the world's richest man's return for the 50th anniversary of the Apollo landing, they share some brews in the 240,000 miles between here and there:
Well, between the news and the case of the Mondays I got, I figured I'd do a quick found-object set of props from the movie version of AiT that someone is bound to make eventually:
First, I emptied some cans:
Next, I prised the top off a couple shaving cream cans and snipped some pill bottles to seat into a couple of those doohickeys that keep your soda pressurized:
...put a strip of Velcro down the side and threw 'em in a case I got from Michael's, next to a "screen-used" Channel Seven News team cap, and, there you go. Took me literally ten minutes, and sure did improve my attitude.
Although I admit it may have been those two quick beers.
