Moulding (a dispute between brothers)

Hello,
I'm Currently making a mould and I'm pressed for time so I'll make this quick.
My twin brother seems to think that the less keys you have on a mould the better, I how ever don't agree on this.

I'm making a 2 part mould for my civil protection helmet, with a 3 pieces shell.

Should I go with more or less keys?

Thoughts?

Depends on how and where you put the keys, they will leave distortions in your cast if not placed correctly.

Absolutely.

Keys are used so the mold doesn't shift inside the shell. So, if your mold is flat/smooth you should have more keys then a mold with natural curves/corners.
