Motherbox 1st try Comic book prop

This is not the final product more like a 3d mockup for myself to try out some ideas. I have always loved Jack Kirby Tech and this is my first pass at making a mother box. I tried to pick out some traits of Kirby tech which is to have the 3 connected circles worked into the design.

Some of the changes I think I am going to make is to have all the circles raised up.

Info I need, what is the lighted material that can glow when you put a charge into it. I think I have seen a Green Lantern costume that used it for the emblem. I think that would look good for the circuits.

Feel free to toss in some other ideas.

Some mother info from Wikipedia
They are generally thought to be sentient, miniaturized, portable supercomputers, although their true nature and origins are unknown. They possess wondrous powers and abilities not understood even by their users, the Gods of New Genesis. These range from teleportation (they can summon Boom Tubes) to energy manipulation. Mother boxes have been seen healing the injured, including Darkseid himself, after he was beaten by Doomsday. Metron stated that each Mother Box shares "a mystical rapport with nature." They provide their owner with unconditional love and self-destruct when their owner dies.

Mother Boxes have sacrificed themselves for causes they have believed in and are greatly respected by the people of New Genesis. In physical appearance they are most often in the shape of a small box worn much like a common day PDA on Earth, but they can also be much larger (as is the one carried by the Forever People), and do not always need to be in the shape of a box at all (Mr. Miracle had Mother Box' circuitry woven into the hood of his costume). They usually communicate with a repetitive "ping." which can be understood by their users.

That looks great. I love Kirby designs. But I'm not familiar with the New Gods stuff. Can you post a photo of the design from the actual comic book?

BTW, you have to make THE ULTIMATE NULLIFIER. (That's the thing Reed Richards uses to get Galactus to back off and not eat planet Earth) Any FF fans here?

Excelsior,

Alan

THE ULTIMATE NULLIFIER is my desktop background right now as a reminder. First I want to get this one in some state of done before I try another As far a a pic of a mother box they really are very different from comic to comic so I am going with the general Kirby tech design. If I do find a good shot ( or anyone on the board finds one ) I will post it up of course.

I am just going to fake it as best as I can. Some where DC direct has a prototype motherbox somewhere but I can't find anything more than a mention on the net.

I just made one as part of a project I am currently working on. It is removable from his harness.

Obviously, those are not Orion's limbs.
BTW, this is just a test shot with crappy resin. The final will be better detail, smoother, and no bubbles.
