Most bizarre Star Wars collectible I've ever seen *NEW PIC*.

Hi guys,

Continuing with the posting of some of my favorite Star Wars items from my collection, I want to show you this. Once I came across this thing and could not let it go. It was just (and still is) the most weird, crazy collectible I've ever seen. The hand lost by Luke Skywalker.

It's made of some kind of resin. When I bought it I thought it was lifesize, but in fact it is like .50 the real size. The hand comes glued to a base covered with an acrylic case. It is not very detailed, as you can see, and it has some glue spread over the palm of the hand, though it's not seen when displayed. Later I painted some more details on the lightsaber, like the pins, buttons, rivets and some more. The best part is the wrist; you can even see the two bones coming out! :D (I might add a better picture of that part if you want me to.)

This is really one of my favorite items, as I have not seen it anywhere else. I think it was custom made by the guy who sold it to me.

Anyway, has someone ever seen something stranger than this that you could provides pictures of?

Ok, I just wanted to add this pic of the wrist so that you can see the bones in the hand. That's a bit gore, but very nice to see :D

What a great idea! It'd be nice to see one made out of a latex hand and a real graflex. :thumbsup

Looks like something I'd put on our mantle over the fire place lol. it would look neat using real latex and saber.

Who was it here that did the cave scene decapitated Luke wearing the Vader helmet?

I've seen the hand and saber prop done several times.
Most use those bendable rubber hands you can get at Halloween shops.

I saw someone with a pile of burnt plastic claiming to be action figures of lukes aunt and uncle

Hoho :p well, you get the meaning... hope so.

Oh, surely I do. I'm not a football collector, but my recent find of a dorky-looking player figurine with a clock in his stomach was too goofy not to want! :)

I've got to do that for my Halloween party this year! :lol

That's not true!!! That's IMPOSSIBLE!!! :lol

Re: Most bizarre Star Wars collectible I've ever seen. Have you seen something strang

that is really cool to have in your collection. I was at a screen-used memorabilia exhibit a year or so ago and they actually had the screen-used hand and lightsaber on display (among lots of other cool costumes from many movies).

Oooooh this is awesome!! never saw this before!! I wonder why none of the replica companies (MR or EFX) have never focused in reproducing Luke's hand. Would be a success!

Because no matter how cool WE think it is, most people don't want a replica of a severed hand on their mantle. :lol

I know it quite morbid but, I would love to get a hold of one of these in the packaging he made for them but the original maker of them isn't interested in making props anymore as it seems. I do see one on Ebay at the moment though.

Freaky people who don't find this cool... LOL :p

Have I seen a stranger collectible? Do you mean prop replica, or just ill-advised merchandise?
Because this is an actual officially licensed thing. I bought one off the shelf at Toys-R-Us.

STAR_WARS_Episode_1__JAR_JAR_BINKS_-_Monster_Mouth.jpg

"Monster Mouth" candy in the shape of Jar Jar.
You press a plunger on the back and the mouth opens and the tongue extends. A candy tongue. Cherry flavour, to be exact. Which you then unwrap and OH GOD WHY, MAKE THE IMAGES STOP!:cry
