was wondering if anyone was planning on going to this one, i will be attending my first comicon this year (yes.....in costume) with the wife and was wondering if there are any montrealers on these forums, i just couldnt pass it up with guest like Shatner, McDowell, De lancie and tons more, if your in the area and fell like going .......give me a shout. I went to MTLCC last year. They're in a bigger venue this year, I'll probably go. I just wish I had a costume to wear! Oh well, there is always something to buy on the floor!

same here no costume.......YET! but i plan on building one in the next week or so , gives me about 6 weeks to complete my project.......gathering pep files right now and happy to report ive found tons, now its simply about figuring out what i should build, cost of the build and manufacturing time... it will be my first con and with montreals own Bill Shatner as the guest of honor i just cant pass it up.........and its a must that i go in costume !!! sorry just excited lol

Probably the easiest for me would be Dr. Evil. I already sport a mighty Q-ball and I seem to have memorized the story of his youth!

got the pep files for the full Thor, IM Mark III-IV-VI-VII, Warmachine and Guyver suits spending most of last night debating which one i should start up, wife likes Thor......starting to think she has a thing for long hair...... but idk it seems like a simple build and im looking for some what of a challenge for my first suit so im 90% decided on an IM suit .....just not sure on the version of the suit yet .......most likely a mark VII (although i really like the HD Mark III for sheer amount of detail)....will post as soon as i get all sorted and decided.

I've never made an IM suit before. But if I had the time, the MKIII would be the one I would do. It is, just as you said, full of small details, but still so clean and streamlined. Easily my favorite suit. Good luck w/whatever you decide though.

My personal fave is the MkI, just something about the hammered together look,, maybe because I'm in the navy and a lot of our kit looks beat to hell!

Unfortunately my wife (quite correctly) pointed out that we don't have the room for a full suit, so I contend myself with smaller builds and props
