Update 8/12/16:
I realize a lot of my photo links are broken. In November, 2015 the two photo hosts we had been using both dropped our photos, completely by coincidence as they were different hosts.
We are slowly working on this and if you search for my username you will notice how many threads I have and how many photos have been fixed and how many are left. This thread is one of the oldest and these photos are among the more difficult to fix.

Update 6/18/07:
New pics on page 9 of the thread.
Here is one:

Update 4/10/07:
Here are some pics of the finished kit:
(broken link ... to be fixed)

Well, a buddy and I started this project a year ago and it seems like that's how most of my projects go. It takes me a year to really get them moving along :unsure :
I was at a point where I needed to finish it so I could free up this huge chunk of clay for some other stuff
The chest:
(broken link ... to be fixed)

(broken link ... to be fixed)
The eye piece:
(broken link ... to be fixed)
(broken link ... to be fixed)
I wasn't happy with it so I sliced it up
(broken link ... to be fixed)
But not before making a mold of it hehe.. here is the fresh casting:
(broken link ... to be fixed)
I had to take a different approach for the hood or cowl, whichever you call it :icon_wink:
I made two ovals from plywood and bent the plastic around it to get the taper and filled it solid then I carved out the details in the buck.
I didn't take a pic of the dome sculpture progress but here is the first pull:
Even has the little nipple on top
(broken link ... to be fixed)
For some reason that dome is really tough to photograph. They all come out blurry and that's the best I could get :unsure
My buddy is working on the cod piece and a couple others right now so I should have them soon to clean up along with working on the backpack
This is still going to be slow cause I have to squeeze little bits of it in here and there. All of what I just shared has been progress over the past year.
