Modifying the Blu Ray Terminator Salvation T-600 bust.

Works! I didn't take the time to adjust the fiber optics, just stuck them in the back of the eye holes. The part that contains the light bulb and fiber optics fits perfectly in the bottom hole too!

I finally went ahead and started searching for a good price for this bad boy - I eventually found one from Amazon.co.uk for£27.34 delivered. It was from their warehouse but was reduced as the outer box was damaged - skull was perfectly fine though. :cool:thumbsup

Thanks to ONEYE for pioneering the mod I took the back off as in his tutorial (had to put the hair dryer on the back piece for ages - didn't think it was going to budge, but it worked eventually).

I then pushed the red eye lenses out from the inside with a screwdriver (they came away from their glue easily) and dremelled down the plastic "crosshair" tabs inside the eye so that I could fit in his new eyes....

As has been done before with various T-800 skull mods, I will be replacing the red lenses (that look a little cheap) with red 12v lamp assembies which fit perfectly (I have one left that I tested the fit with) inside the eye holes. The cross hatching on these just look so much nicer. They've been ordered, but waiting for them to arrive...

Apart from the new eye lenses I plan to paint the eye hollows metallic to match the rest of the head (should not be plain black) and give the whole thing a rusted paintjob....

Well I want ahead and painted the eye sockets and nostrils to match the metallic paintjob (rather than flat black) - big improvement. :thumbsup

12V Lamp Assembies have also been installed replacing the original red lenses. I haven't painted rust on him yet. He photographs rather well. :)

I can see a lot of small sculptural details that are different from the original prop, but I'd love to see this next to the Sideshow T-600 to see the difference in size of the heads.

You are too kind. I customized the "chrome" endobust, changed the eyes to blue. Like the color of Cameron's eyes in the early episodes of T:TSCC.

Amazon.com: Terminator 2 (Six-Disc Limited Edition Set + Endoskull Bust) [Blu-ray]: Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, Edward Furlong: Movies & TV

The above link shows you what I used.

Still haven't completed the T-600 bust conversion. Wasn't have with the items I was using. Going to go with the 12V Lamp Assemblies that Howlrunner used vice the fiber optics.

Edit - No here, just part of the "Resistance". ;)

All I have is my one endoskull and I love that thing ,now you are making me want 5 more, GEE Thanks alot ,ONEYE , lol

I apologize... it is an addiction. I've had to put off getting the 1:1 T-700, T-600, the new version of the HCG/Toynami 1:1 (with blue lights and T2 theme music), and the Beagle Bill kit. I do have the ICONS, well, I have a number of them. Have you seen my collection of them? It's a sickness. ;)

It looks like more than it really is, due to picture variations. Then again, for something like Terminator, I can't help myself. :$

Is that right ,well from what I just seen in your pictures ,......................Sideshow Collectibles ,has 1 ,of their drivers .......................on standby..........just to deliver to your house once a week......

Well, that's how I got in trouble with two credit cards. I stopped buying in November 2009. In 4-5 months, I'll have them paid off as well as my car. I've got a collection budget set up, and more importantly, will only buy with cash. All bills paid, a house repair budget, even money set aside for our pet companions vet visits. I'm good with my wife (now) and happy to see the end of my paying interest to credit cards. It feels good. Of course, I missed out on many things, but to be able to get them responsibly will make it that much better.

Oh, you should have seen my "want list"! However, that has also shrunken in size (not like everything else that seems to shrink with age, you know, the manly hydraulics, my height, the amount of hair on my head, etc.). I'll be focusing my collection on my "Big 3", Aliens, Predators and Terminator. Ok, I'll confess, the occasional Marvel Comics, and or other really cool thing will sneak in there. However, I am determined to stick within my budget. I have each item costed out and if I can get it cheaper on EBAY than from Sideshow, well, that's my "wiggle room" budget. :)

Time to hit the rack... I know, TMI....

Thanks! I'm a busty kind of guy... wait, I meant an endobusty kind of guy. Well, you know what I mean.
