Hello,
Has anyone ever worked with scratch building mechs before? I bought some baljoints from hobby search usa and have lots of styrene and the like. But one thing I know I will need, but am scratching my head about are pins for hinge-points.
Where can I get such thin rods? Should I get aluminum? Stainless steel? Would brass be too prone to breaking?
And are there any tricks for keeping the pin housing nice and tight against the pin? So that the hinge will stay in any position, not just open and closed
