Model Master Gunmetal Buffing Metalizer issue

Anyone use this type of paint often? I had no issues the very first time I used it, but I started using here and the paint remains tacky even weeks after applying it.

I'm starting to think that maybe the humidity is causing this, because my first time using it was in Arizona, near winter time and it's dry there. Getting kinda frustrated in that it's tacky after I buff it etc. I do light coats, so I don't know what Im doing wrong.

Anyone have more experience with this?

I'm pretty sure i had a similar issue when i painted my Grievous ship and once i used the sealer it was good to go. I also noticed it happened if the metalizer is applied too thick. I am far from any paint expert though.

Yea I should have gotten the sealer for it, just came to me that they sold it alongside the paint
