So, Like the title says, I've been asked to replicate a MMPR suit from the movie.

Just a few WIP pics; I have about 2 and a half hours into the helmet - a BIG thanks the Rob and Jenn over at Sticks & Stones FX Lab - they're the ones who did the originals and have helped me through this mess LoL

You'll also see the WIP mock up of the White Rangers' sword, Saba.

Hey everyone - I've been getting a LOT of PMs on this - Yes, it will be avail. in the Junk Yard when it's completed - for now, just trying to get it done, and yes, I will be posting pics if the 18-inch Premium Format figs of both the TV MMPR and Movie MMPR series...

I have some photos of the helmet, gloves, boots, and morpher, I can PM them to you, or post em here ( didn't want to hijack your thread ) no shots of the suit yet though, still researching what to make the armor out of.

wow!! progress looks great!! im sure this is not the first sculpt you've made judging from the pictures..:cool what other projects have you done? sorry for the OT but im sure you can sculpt a movie accurate iron man helmet!!

Mr Spider - Just PM'd ya...

Vegas - PM me - I actually just did a cast of an IM face plate... Am in contract negotiations now to do an Iron Man suit, I did it as a "preview" peace... Talk about a long day LoL... 4 hours to mock the clay and sculpt, 5 hours for the mold to set and another hour in pouring, curing and painting it LoL...

This is looking really good so far. I've been wanting to do a white ranger helmet for a while now and can never push myself to do it. I'm also really curious to see how Saba turns out. I remember having the toy version as a kid

Saba is gonna be a b***h of a project from what I was told from the FX lab that made it - but then again so did SnS when I told them I was going to do the helmet LoL - so we'll see... Should have a finalized cast of the helmet in the next 7-10 days...

Haha this is awesome. Can't wait to see the progress.

I made a morpher out of cardboard when I was a kid, the plastic power coin (forget where I got that) even turned in and out of it and everything, I was stoked. It was probably my first "prop" lol.

Are you doing just a sculpt or are you trying to make him talk too? either way, it does seem like a b***h of a project with all of the little details in his face and helmet.

Honestly, depends on how much is left in the budget as Saba was an after thought... Making the mouth move is easy, as is adding the sound - just a matter of cost as the cast of the piece is hollow, so all in all - I don't know yet

Yeah the helmet is really taking shape. Awesome work. I'm only a fan of the Movie White Helmet maybe movie Black and blue.

The other helms haven't really grown on me
