MMPR Cockpit research *Seats*

Hey guys, I've been getting screen caps of the zord cockpits from power rangers season 1, I plan on making schematics of them (if the star wars guys can do it so can I :p). Anyway I'm doing quite well with most parts, but I could use some help IDing the seats they use. they appear to be racing seats (I'm going to assume Japanese in make) from 1992 or before. Here are the best shots I could get of them.

They are backed with blue plastic and have grey upholstery (although I guess that could have been done by the studio) and the holes for the shoulder straps are rectangular and in line with the "wing" like parts on the side. If anyone has any idea about them or where I can look for more info, please let me know. Once we have these down I can move on to one or two other details that are giving me trouble. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the help, I looked at Recaro, Bride, and, Corbeau seats, found seats that were very similar, but nothing spot on. Finding all the proper traits in one seat is hard.

I talked to a car buff friend of mine, and he found some even closer than I did on my first search, but nothing exact. He believes they are late 80's model Corbeau racing seats, that had been recovered. He also warned that recovering seats can change its lines so it might make it harder to ID. Although I have seen a fair few seats with no logos on them so it is possible that its just stock.

Here is how I'm seeing the seats after squinting at all my pics.
1. Blue plastic or fiberglass molded seat body (I know it can be painted but it seems a strange thing to do)
2. Grey fabric seat (assuming its not a new cover)
3. Solid bucket seat (non adjustmentable)
4. The shoulder "wings" come out the top of the seat at an angle closer to 90 degrees than most seats
5. No kidney "wings" (lots of seats have these)
6. The harness strap holes are 2 separate holes not one
7. The holes are rectangles that are parallel to the "floor"
8. The bottom of the holes are nearly lined up with the top of the "wings"
9. Wide squared head rest

I'm mostly looking for shapes as appose to colors and materials. I'm theorizing that it is of Japanese make since I would imagine getting them would be cheaper than an imported brand. I also think the backs weren't painted because it makes more sense that design wise they would be painted black, grey, or silver, plus its something that is barely and then only partially seen. Considering the simplicity of the set designs I would think that skip that detail.
