Has anyone ever ID'd the holster on Tom Cruise's belt? It's the one thats on his back. Here are some pics:
I know that the tactical holster is a BlackHawk Omega as I have the same one for my Resident Evil Costume. But the one that's on the back has eluded my searches.

Thanks. I've found a close match from Galco but I just need to find the right gun holster as the movie. If I can find that pic, I can compare it.

But from this picture, does it look like the prop dept. from Mission Impossible just painted it black?

galco makes black leather too...

the tac rig looks like one of Blackhawks rigs...

Yea, the Tac Leg Holster looks to be one of the Blackhawk Omega VI holster models or knockoff thereof... same as what was used on Stargate SG1 for years. My Omega VI actually has "Blackhawk" molded into the leg strap buckles, so either the prop department sanded the name off/replaced the buckles or its one of the airsoft knockoffs. There were 2 versions ... one was the standard the other an 'airborne' version that had a 2ndary retention strap w/ buckle for the gun. Blackhawk discontinued the Omega VI about a year and a half ago so it may present a small challenge in tracking one down.

Galco does multiple colored leather and left or right handed holsters.

I believe I may have that same tac rig at home. It's been a while since I got it, but believe I purchased it mail order from Backyard Sportsman. It was like $25, but was quite similar with the mag pouch on the front and similar snap buckles. The only thing about it was that you ordered a generic size based on firearm. I picked mine up for a Beretta 92FS, which was considered a large firearm. Not sure of the other sizes. I'll see what I can dig up later...

I have the AIrborne Version so the gun wouldn't get yanked by eager people. I've seen the airsoft versions but
it didnt feel right for me so I went with Blackhawk instead.
I just checked the Blackhawk website, it looks like there is still the Omega VI tactical holster available.

Hi all,

The tactical holster could also be an "Eagle" perhaps.

Concerning the back-up holster, Cruise's holster seems to be a left-handed, yours is a right-handed explaining why you put it under your belt. His holster is effectively for large capacity weapon, a Beretta 92 with Hogue grip on your pics. You can effectively find these holsters in black...the most common color for discretion.
