Mirror finish polishing with a dremel?

Anyone have any good online tutorials on how to polish stainless steel to a mirror finish. I have a polishing kit for my dremel, but nothing I seem to do gets all the swirl marks out where I removed some connecting metal.

I've got it pretty close, but I know it can be better. I just have no idea what order you use the tips in and which ones use the polishing compound and what speeds. Anyone with some insight would be most helpful!

Thanks!

Buffing with jewelers rouge should do just what you need. No need to change tips...in fact, I'd recommend just using a drill with a buffing wheel on it if you have one.

Look for videos on jewelers rouge, it should help you out.

Kerosene is great for a chrome finish on Aluminium, if the object can be placed into a lathe
SS however, I've found Cerepol (glass stove top polish) and a Dremel great for removing the deeper scratches, then moving to a laminated rag on bench grinder and block polish does the mirror/chrome trick

good luck and always try out new methods on sacraficial scrap metals 1st

sand to 1200, hit it with Tripoli compound, clean, then hit with Rouge. Change wheel buffs between compounds.
