Hi all
Sorry if this is a bit off-topic, but I imagine you all display your favourite props unless you are keeping it out of sunlight (UV protection recommended).
I read that one-way reflective mirror film (that you use on windows for privacy) keeps out 80% of UV radiation. I also read that depending on where the light is most powerful, changes which side is reflective.. so it got me thinking you could have a display cabinet with this film, which during the day would be fairly UV resistant (albeit with contents hidden), and when you light it up, you would see the contents as the reflectivity would be biased to the the inside...
I'm aware it tints windows somewhat too - but has anyone tried this before? I'm just curious how it would look.
