Hey people,

the Miniatur Wunderland is a private venture founded by two brothers a few years ago. It is located in Hamburg, Germany and started out as an HO train diorama, but expanded into a miniature replica of many aspects of the real world.

There are tons of yt vids out there, but I just came across a making of video of their airport models. Awesome technical solutions for displaying usually static models in motion, airports, harbours, city scenery and much more.

Definitely worth a visit.

And you can even find old acquaintances there ;)

Nice to see some of the newer stuff they added. There have been some articles in Model Railroader in the past

I'd love to see it in person someday.

Looks like they used a Revell Falcon (closest I can think of to HO scale 1/87)

Although a Fine Molds/REvell Master series would look much better and is pretty close to 1/87 itself

I misread the thread title as MINOTAUR wonderland...needless to say I was a bit confused, and just a tad disappointed.
