Like most of my other projects I started on my first Iron Man costume with the part I figured was the most logical place to start. The arc reactor. Once I had this done my suit would take off from there. I wanted to use a part from a VCR like I read in this forum somewhere but when I took the first VCR apart I realized that since it was a high end model the parts were smaller, alas my son's Iron Man costume began. He already had the toy helmet so we used that until I can finish his foam helmet.
