MIM Gunstar?

Has anyone built the Monsters In Motion Gunstar from “The Last Starfighter?” I’ve been debating getting the kit as they seem to be the only folks with one, but I hear their kits are horrible. Any thoughts?

You have to be careful on kits from MIM since some of the stuff they sell are recasts.

MiM has mixed quality as well- sometimes the molds are blown but used anyway.
One bad habit they do have is that they show items available which are not in stock. They take the order but wait for enough of them accumulate before placing the order with the caster for another production run. With some subjects not in popular demand this can take months.

Sadly they are the only source for some kits, you just gotta roll the dice and hope for the best.

MIM is what it would be if the Ferengi ran a hobby shop: "give us your money and we'll get it to you. Don't complain about the quality and if you are the owner of the original product line" what the hell do you mean copy rights?!"
