Millennium Falcon parts for 3d Printing

Sorry if I've been absent - I'm finding the new RPF forum a bit lacking. I seem to be missing a lot of correspondence.

Anyway - I received some very nice reference parts and digitized them to add to the donor library.

Nitto 1/800 IJN Yamato naval gun, Nitto 1/48 German Tiger II treads, and the Otaki (Hobby Japan) 1/600 IJN part #68.

you are doing a great job! I'm not sure if this asked before but do you make this 3D parts available?

I used to. And will again at some point. But I got tired of finding my files up for sale on Shapeways - which is against the Creative Commons license under which they were originally posted. Bad Apples and such...

For now, they are tools for digital surveys to help me reverse engineer my own build.

Hi Maruska! Are you planning make this files available as the ones you already have in grab cad and your website? even if one doesn`t print the items the accuracy that can be achieved having this referencies is out of this world, your work is outstanding.

Gee... I missed that earlier post, Really a shame and is totally understandable your decision.

I have finally just uploaded what I think are the last of the 8Rad parts to GrabCAD.

Now to the 1/35 Panther A.

Thank you so much Bjorn.

I have modeled quite a few parts (mainly used on Tie-fighter and A-wing), but just from kit photos, so accuracy is questionable. Wish I have some kits so I can contribute to this endeavour.

Thanks, its getting harder to find some of the old kits that I may resort to doing just that, however even scans are hard to find for some of these pieces.
Though I have been lucky enough to get hold of a 1/25 Centurion III recently.

Indeed - thanks for sharing... I just picked up a small printer and now need to figure out how to print and 3d Model :). any pointers on Software to use?

Thanks!
