Millennium falcon mpc rebuild

I posted a thread about this build a while ago, gut I thought there may be some more interest in this...I rebuilt the old 1/87 MPC kit from 1977 to reflect the original 5' Miniature of the Falcon seen in the 1977 release of Star Wars.
It's my favorite version of the ship, I prefer it to the 32" Miniature they made for Empire.
Here's a list of things I did, but not limited to, to the Model...

Scratch built the entire cockpit/cockpit access way to reflect the five footer, Lowered the sidewalls to the correct height, scratch built and resin after market parts make up the sidewalls, weathered the model to reflect scale, again, per the 5' miniature, added Photo-etched parts to various areas around the ship, added scratch built details to the docking rings...there's more, but I can't remember!!LOL!!

The model was also featured in the March 2013 Gallery section of Fine Scale Modeler...
