My son recently picked up the new Miles Morales Game on Playstation, and much like its predecessor, it’s amazing! He has fallen in love with the “2020 suit” (might need a better name!), and he started to design it in CAD and we’ve begun printing it. For those not familiar, here is what it looks like from the game.
He’s made good progress on the design of the helmet and we test printed the base. Sadly, we ran out of filament, but it was enough for verifying sizing and allowed us to work through some ideas for how to easily put on the helmet (neck hole is too small to slip over your head.
We will attempt to vacuform the dome and tint with dye (similar to how I make my First Order Storm Trooper visor) and then we’ll use these LED panels to create the eyes!
Looking for any suggestions on where to start looking to source the jacket or gloves.
