Mikoyan MiG-31 1/24 scale Build

I made this model around 8 years ago, I did a few kits for sale and this is the last of them, all the moulds are now really bad and rotting. Anyway I thought I would build it before it was damaged beyond repair. Luckily for me I managed to cast up the resin bits and away I went.

Are those body halves hollow fiberglass or resin? They look pretty big. How long is the model?

Its all hand laid fibreglass and a little over 30 inches long

Got the back end on but biting the bullet and skiming most of the thing, I'm going to have to re scibe all the panel lines

Managed to add the lower front intakes today and also a comparison shot of both sizes that I did, 1/48 and 1/24th scales, Before anyone asks thats the last small one as well, Johns making that one for his dads Christmas pressie, I doubt very much that I will be re moulding this, Besides which I know there are really nice ones being printed now.

Managed to get the top intake shrouds on as well as the lower Machine gun bit, Now to refinish the whole surface to a perfect finish, easy
