Michael Jackson's Auction - Prop related

This is pretty hilarious, a Michael Jackson Batman!

But, the cool thing is, look at the price, thats a decent price for a decent suit.

There are some limited edition statues, but the scissor hands worn by Depp were the only really cool thing. I like the 1957 Cadillac Fleetwood from "Driving Miss Daisy", but that would not be my first choice of a prop car... more like a V8 Interceptor from Mad Max.

you would think that with a arcade collection that big he would at least have his own "Michael Jackson, Moonwalker" game in the mix

Anyone else notice the "Virtual Boy" game on page 37? :)

But seriously, it is kind of sad to see a collection that is most impressive and which must have taken years and a rather large fortune to build get broken up like this...Despite his reputation for inproprieties with small boys, Michael Jackson was a hell of a musician and had the house and collection I would personally love to have.

I see some interesting pieces there - stuff that is really unique. But there is a LOT of..... well, crap. Well, I guess you can have money, but it can't buy you taste.

pretty cool old music machines. My cousins won a pepsi go-cart like the one in the magazine when I was a little kid. The Walt Disney drawing was pretty cool and I bet the Chris Reeve signed supes pic fetches more than est.

Agreed.

That was my thought exactly when pawing thru the catalog. Every once in a while there's some really unique things, then it's back to pages and pages of high-end swap meet crap.

If I had MJ money, I would have a better class of junk. :)
