No, I can tell this from Barry Sonnenfeld's decade-long decline into schlock and the behind the scenes production photos. It just looks like it is going to be a mess.
I could be wrong though...

But the props in MIIB... they are quiet nice... no ?
And I am sure that smartphone is a sort of communicator... I bet they will never remove the cylindrical form !

For those crapping on this... Wow... Really? We have an original prop studio delving into the the licensed replica world, like Weta, and you are complaining?!? You can like or dislike the designs, but to have the original creators offering replicas is the best news I have heard at this entire con!

That is great news, I think that is just wonderful! I am very curious what the Neuralyzer will look like as well. As for the designs, I mean no disrespect to the FX guys either, I'm sure their probably just working from the concept drawings they've been given to work from. It's just the designs, but the level of quality they appear to have been made to looks fantastic!

I must say that I am a bit underwhelmed too. Not by the execution of the props, they look top notch. But the look, except for weapon 1 I don´t really feel that they have any real character. They are so streamlined, there is not much for the eye to cling to, it´s all one swooshy mooshy streamlined slick chrome soup. There is not much contrast in them.
Could this be the neuralyzer?
i for one love the style MIB 3 is trying to capture. it has accents of the MIB 1 and 2 for sure but i keep in mind these are the first designs of their tools that eventually evolve to smoother and cleanier weapons of the future. the picture of the Nueralyzer is at the booth. its the GIANT tube on top of the sign. if you look it has a small plaque that says "MIB Nueralyzer" im guessing they will prob have smaller ones or not. but that giant one must be the original one used.
can't wait to see this film, i cant judge earlier if its a dud or not. However, this means its an opportunity for companies to get the license and at least offer us MIB related good which have been sorely lacking since MIB 2 ended years ago. I for one can't wait what we get to see

I think it´s a misconception that design evolution always has to be "smoother and cleaner". Streamline, maybe, but not lick it smooth like a rock that´s been in a river for eons.
The designs remind me a lot of iconic guns, the 1 looks a bit like a BR PKD, the 4 looks like Boba Fett´s blaster, ah well, I´m just not in a happy mood, I guess
