Got these done. Still need to polish them all up. Tomorrow i will start the other side parts.

Part 2 of the side hammers done. Still need to do a final sanding then polish. Only thing left for these side parts are the round caps to go on the ends and then the thin shafts to connect the cylinder parts to these hammers and a thick rod that sits in front of the cylinder. Ill do them this weekend along with the tiny cylinders with the pointy spikes on the ends that sit above these parts. Then i can fit all this stuff to the shell sides.

... a few more pieces done. Rings for the top alien tubes, the little spike side details that sit under the tubes, and the teardrop looking pieces are polished up and i made the little standoffs for them. I still need to get the right length screws.

Just finished up making 16 of the domes for the end of the "hammers". All the side parts are done now so ill start fitting these to the shells and pick up some hard wood to make the magazine body master.

Amazing work, as usual.
Started on the magazine frame. Decided to make it out of wood so glued some poplar strips together and went to machining. I made 2 blanks incase i messed one up but ended up messing both up the same way....lol. I still need to machine the top area out but i want to give this thing a coat of epoxy to hopefully give it a tad bit more strength before doing any more to it. I also need to make some holes for the "bullet" tips and backs but i want to make the bullets before i fit them. Also have to make the half round bottom piece and U shaped trims for the sides,
