Metro 2033 - How to glue EVA and HIPS plastic?

Im working on a Metro 2033 revolver made from EVA foam and looking to mount a sight on it made from HIPS plastic, most commonly used in scale modelling.
I want to drill 2 holes on top of the revolver and mount it by using 2 HIPS dowels glued to the bottom of the sight plate.
Any idea what would be the best glue for this? I use contact cement for EVA and plactic cement for plastic parts.

Contact cement should do the trick;)

You're welcome. Another go-to product is hot glue;)
Yes I do like my hot glue but usually on cardboard. I'm very new to foam so will have to give it a go. I actually realized I could use neodymium magnets to attach the 'gadgets' to the props hassle free:D
