We meet again, RPF!!
Haven't posted in a looooong time, I'm pretty sure you guys don't remember me, I only posted this since becoming a member http://www.therpf.com/f9/gears-war-snub-pistol-wip-57197/
And that one remains as a WIP to the day...
Anyway, recently I've finished this litlle Knife here, and figured I should show it up around here. Theres a few things that I would change if i did it again, but since this was supposed to be a fast build (10 copies, 13 days), I'm pretty much satisfied with the results.
The master was shaped from 2 3mm styrene glued together, molded, then cast in polyester resin (the crappy one, but good resins are almost prohibitly expensive in Brazil). The casts were then covered in textured vynil for the carbon fiber look, had the button and shock thingie on top glued on. Some paint and light wheatering on top of that and I'm done.
Would love to know what you guys think about it!
For those unfamiliar with the source
