Hello,
This is my first post and wanted to share a work in progress. I'm sculpting a mermaid tail which is ultimately supposed to be a costume for my girlfriend. It's not meant to be wearable over the legs, but will be attached to her lower back as a tail. It's medium Chavant NSP over an insulation foam base. I haven't sculpted anything large since collage, so it's been fun for me to just have a project going. Soon I'll start building an armature that will hold it upright
I'm looking for any tips or advice on how to best achieve a smooth surface...this is my first time using Chavant and although it's super strong and keeps forms intact, I've found it so slow and hard to use when it wasn't super heated in my apartment.
Thanks!
