Men's Wide Calf Boots?

A friend of mine is trying to piece together an Imperial Officer's uniform, but has the minor problem of most boots not fitting over his calves. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or knowledge of where we can find wide-calf military boots that will still be accurate?
