Men in Black ID holder prop

hey fellow rpfer's!

hope none of you are snowed in like i am the moment.

I was reading some of my MIB behind the scenes book and ran across a paragraph about their being a prop made for J and K where they show people their ID badges and i guess in post production it would change the ID to be anything they wanted like "FBI, CIA, etc etc division 6". I read that they scraped the idea when they felt they couldn't pull it off right for the film.

has anyone ever seen the prototype of this badge? I would have like to seen what they came up with for the first film. the idea sounds really great especially for the gag they do when they say they are division 6 something.

Looking at your location, I suspect I am exactly as snowed in as you are. Be careful shoveling or you'll throw your back out like I did mine!

I'm thinking the only way to pull it off properly would be similar to Doctor Who's psychic paper.

Sounds like their Carte Noire card thingy. They didn't have the tech back then to pull it off so they scrapped it. I have a pic of it somewhere if that is what you are talking about.
