Members who have built a LSoH Audrey - need some pics

Hey Guys,

I've been working on Audrey (open mouth) on and off for 2 years, now. I really just want to get it done and over with. What I'm missing is the leaves around the head. All the leaves that surround the bud as well as the big ones with the orange spots. My screen caps don't really help and they seem to change from scene to scene.

I was wondering if anyone who's made one, could post pics (from different angles, if possible) of all the leaves. I just need some reference so I can go to Michael's and get something as close as possible. Thanks to a member here, I have the moss and the tendrils, but the generic leaves are just too generic. I'd like to find something more accurate. The leaves are the last thing keeping me from being finished.

I know for a fact that at least a few members have built one of these. Nobody has a few pictures to help a brotha out?

The closest leaves available are the ones that Sctcarts sculpted and cast in latex (that's what I used on mine). All the other leaves I've seen are the wrong shade/vein pattern/shape/thiickness.

As for the petals around the head, most people use silk rose petals, but I just find that they don't look right - the real Audrey II seems to have quite chunky petals, at least to my eyes. So I used foam plants that I cut up and painted as foam leaves have a nice depth to them. Ideally you want the head petals to be green with a VERY fine purple veining covering the whole thing.

Sorry I missed this! I'll be posting a step by step on assembling the Audreys from my current run including the pedals around the pod and the the leaves and vines.

If you can hold on just a but longer, (not too long, I promise! ), I'll have the thread underway.

HR, those look perfect :thumbsup. I wish I had gotten in on the leaves run, but I didn't have an Audrey at the time.

Gigatron-
I'll pull up pictures of my finished closed mouth build with the latex leaves. I know I still have the plaster master molds for them in storage, have to pull it out anyway to put together my open mouth version. I'll get some pics up tonight.
