Megaman Pepakura

Hey, has anyone ever done a pepakura build of the original megaman from the NES? I've seen zero and X around, but I wanna build the blue/light blue megaman, and possibly modify it to do protoman and cutman as well :lol. Also, would pepakura be the right medium for this?

I think it'd be pretty neat to make an actual 8-bit nes megaman costume.

Something like this voxelated looking but extend the design into 3d instead of just pulling the 2d sprite into 3 dimensions. Might be hard to make all the pieces work but it'd definitely be original.

That'd be pretty tricky to wear. You'd have to stand and walk sideways as well. A 3d version of that is what I'd be after though.

Anyone out there have/able to pass on some models for this? I'm happy to unfold them in pep. I'd really like to do this costume.

Haha nice. Sorry about the late reply, I think Nintendude on the 405th had them Laveniuk, but it was a while ago and I can't find the link again. Check their pep files though, probably in there somewhere.

Well I found that Nintendude's file list, but all he has is the helmet for Zero from megaman, I was looking for the entire armor for X
Oh and the Pep Files link on the 405th website does not work!

no prob. when you said original nes, i thought you meant this version.

the pic you posted helps for a reference. what version megaman is that? the X7 was always my favorite.

That megaman is from Megaman X Command Mission. I think it has a lot more to it then just the blue suit of armor, but still has a really good megaman feel! I do want to have the big blaster on the one arm though! The left arm i think.

Oh and that wasnt me asking about the NES version.

I'm new to modeling but I'm trying to make a complete pep Megaman X costume. Once I have something to show I'll post it for you guys, if anyone is interested.

I could use good reference images if anyone has some front and side images of X or any other characters.

I've been a big mega man fan since mega man 2 (wow 1989) Would love to see some mega man pep pop up. I've seen Zero's helmet over at the 405th.. but nothing mega man (non X) related yet.. I've recently thought about starting modeling and might do this once I'm done with my War machine project! Hopefully something pops up in the meantime.

im working on a megaman atm aswell as a Gen 1 Megatron

as far as the suit goes, all you need are the gauntlets, blaster, and boots. the rest of the costume will be simple light/sky blue sweat pants and shirt

I have pap files for the Megaman X helmet and arms but I'm looking for the upperbody, cod piece, and boots. I can't seem to find them anywhere. I would also love to learn how to make my own unfolds, if theres a tutorial out there somewhere. I've made the helmet, and am currently working on the arms.
