MECHANISMO Blaster & Saber cut-aways

I've had these since they were published in late 1977 or early 1978 in "Mechanismo".
I'm not sure if they are of interest, but they are - I think - the first time that anyone tried to show the cut-away workings of these two iconic weapons.

Those are still two of the best SW prop photos ever published.

I've never seen these before so I don't know much about them but if you got them in the 70s why does it say 1987 at the bottom of the pages?

That text is just fake copy to make them look like they came from a manual. It's only on the tech pages. Apparently 1987 was supposed to sound futuristic or something. Mine's the same way. The book was published in 1978.
