I am starting a pauldrons project and was wondering how to measure my shoulders and arms so they fit.

That is all.

Do you have a design? A pattern? A picture you're following? There are many different style of pauldrons... whatcha makin?

Kamui has printable pattern books for basic armor pieces. The PDF versions of the books are very inexpensive and there are male and female versions. Might be a good jumping off point. You can make these in posterboard and tinker with the lines until you get a base that you like. Then add details from there.

schulter.jpg I want to build something similar to this. Im just wondering how to measure where my shoulders would fit in them. I want them somewhat comically oversized (similar to world of warcraft style) and then foam to take up the space between the inside and my shoulder for a comfortable fit.
