We all heard the story about the 1947 Roswell crash. In the story Jesse Marcel claims to have taken a few pcs of the reckage home to show his son Jessie jr. One of those items was an I-beam with alien glyphs on it.
From the description given by Marcel and as portrayed in the Roswell UFO museum I created a metal replica of it.
It is a prop if the Roswell crash is fake, if it's not fake then its a alien artifact replica.

Any way I thought it would be cool to make.

I was looking for something like this back in October when I visited the Roswell UFO Museum's gift store. All they had was a bunch of dime store crap, and a bunch of t-shirts. So, I got a t-shirt...

You should contact them and the other souvenier shops there to see if they would buy a bunch off of you. I know they would sell, since this piece is very well known among all the ufo afficionados.

Nice prop artifact buy the way.

Honestly, im hoping its fact as well.
I read lots of websites about UFO and Alien encounters. The Lazar story www.boblazar.com was really cool.
I based lots of my work on his accounts.
He described working on an alien space craft south of the area 51 site callled S-4. There he said he came in contact with the drive system of the space craft and its fuel source.
He said the fuel was Element 115. I thought it would be cool to have a alien fuel cell of my own. He said the US Airforce had something like 5 lbs of this Element 115 and it was used for their own experimentation of the UFO's.
I figured the Airforce would probably create a fuel cell that is clearly marked as to what it is, so I created this interpretation based on Lazars description and my own Military experience.

I held a Top Secret clearance in the Navy when I was a WT. When the Airforce took custody of our equipment in 1993 I was transfered to the supply department where because of my clearance level I was put on the IMARSAT for that department. In my procedures book there was a classification table to help message senders determine how to classify a message over the satalite. One of the classifications was "cosmic Top Secret" This was 4 levels above my own TS clearance level. The description of the use of CTS was for the reporting of any unidentified flying or non flying objects. So my interest was peaked from that point on.

Very cool.

Between your statement, a post in the OT about Phaser stun weapons "someday", and other morsels of information it isn't hard to read between the lines on some of this stuff. There guys out there (and on this board I think) that know some really cool stuff that would cause panic in the streets I suspect.

Do you have any side by side with the original? :D

I hope that is a great artifact replica.
[/b]

I too would love to see a side-by-side - I always read about the Roswell debris when I was on my supernatural kick as a kid, but I never saw any pictures. Regardless of the original, though, yours looks fantastic.

There is no original, if there was then there would be no question about the Roswell incident.

Nicely done.

I was stationed at Wright-Patt for awhile and it was funny how some of the old-timers there refused to say anything about "The Hanger" ;)

Hahah, of course - well in that case, is it an entirely original design?

No, its based off of the drawing in the Roswell Museum. This drawing was provided by Jesse jr. who claims to have seen it first hand from his father Jesse Marcel sr.
here is a link to the drawing from the roswell museum

Nice piece. It would make a good conversation piece on the coffee table (yes I have weird friends.) In case I missed it is it going to be released. Either in metal or resin so us lesser mortals could obtain one?

Malc.
