Maul Progress - Lot of Pics

Hi Everyone-
I've been working with a very talented seamstress for several months now (by working I mean answering the odd question here and there while she did all the hard work!) and my Maul combat suit is coming together very nicely!

I need a little help with the back of the outer robe though - does the yoke on the back run straight across or is it more of an inverted "v" with the point at the base of the neck? The robe in the pics is a mock up and the final version will have all the pleats.

Comments and criticisms appreciated!

Dude, great job but your'e killing me with that mask on. I can't concentrate on the details of the oufit. :lol

Yeah Chris, crop that silly looking head off!! :lol

Top job, the material looks like it hangs very well.

Paint the maul face tats on that bunny head and you'll be a convention star! :lol

That would look hillarious!

I'll have more helpful comments after the following question. About how tall are you?

Also, you are talking about the cloak when you say outer robe, right? If so then it's the same as the front, straight across. I have official pics that will help. As well as more info after the height question is answered with pics as well. All official pics of course so there is no fear or tampering with info or whatever you guys get afraid of. ;)

I'm exactly 6ft, which makes me 3 inches too tall to be a 'screen-accurate':lol Maul! And yes, I was talking about the cloak - thanks for the info Ed!

Thanks, man. I'll pull out the reference folder tonight and get you some pics and suggestions. :)

Here are some previews of the cloak - by all accounts the pleating has turned out to be a long and painful process but the end result so far is fantastic!
