Mau5 head covering

Hello all! Im new to the forum but have been "trolling" it for a little while now. Ive been making mau5 heads for a little while now and have everything down with the exception of covering the globe. Depending on what fabric i use I can get it down to 4 some times 3 "slices" and glued into place. It looks ok because all the seams start at the ears and go across the back of teh head. so here is my question. Ive seen some people do it with 2 pieces of fabric with a single seam across the back of the head. Are you guys sewing 2 round pices together and just streatching it over the globe? If so what size are the circles your sewing?
