In a few months you will be able to compare all those colors to the Mattel board (and not just the pink). I expect it will be subjected to some serious scrutiny :lol.

That's the best way to describe it. I think the salmon color is an aspect of the "fluorescent/neon" nature of the pink.
I'm a bigger BTTF fan than anyone on this thread combined times a trillion... [/url]
You sound like a great guy to be around.
I'm a bigger BTTF fan than anyone on this thread combined times a trillion and I have to say (being a time traveler) that I saw this coming which is why I never pre-ordered anything, I'll leave it to you peeps to complain until the finished re-finished product is worth buying, never pre-order a BTTF prop replica, like the Flux Capacitor from Diamond Select it will always be inaccurate compared to the meticulous fan-made props, that's a lesson you don't need a time machine to learn. Also I have no intention on getting a car loan just to buy some of the 2011 Nike Mags, all I have to do is wait until 2015 (or set my time machine to 2015), the final product is better, mass produced and affordable, it really kills the re-sellers that didn't sell their Mags by January 2015, the value drops drastically.
I've seen a number of the original screen used hoverboards in person and up close they are very sloppy compared to some of these fan-made versions, you can see the glue zig zagging under the tape, so in the end we will never get *exact* replicas but I too am not a fan of what Matty Collector have cranked out.
I also saw the original Mattel handle bars in person, not only that but I touched 'em, they were screwed to a box at Universal Studios Hollywood, I didn't know it at the time but it was the original, there never was a 2nd pair of pink Mattel handlebars made, other than the alternate yellow/orange colored one for the other girl's hoverboard. So I got to touch it and I tried to take it outa the box, this was in 1991.

... I'm still working on getting PMS color codes ...
Update:
"Checked test pieces of the foil and it looks bad. These however were old graphics on older boards, pre-SDCC. I have been told that they are dumping the foil and going with a regular label. Much like the NYTF and SDCC boards, but with updated accurate graphics. This is good, since regular is easier to produce and way better looking than the foil."
Sounds like the final board may look closer to a stunt board instead of neither stunt or hero.
I'm still working on getting PMS color codes and accurate dimensions off the screen boards that were measured. I may start a new thread for all of that.
Thanks,
Dave
