Just got my Wand in time for Halloween! - Spent Saturday spooking Cub Scouts as we cleaned up a campsite that was over-run with spirits!

So as I'm looking it over I notice a headphone jack in the base of the handle ready to attach to a cable to the pack?

So has anyone experimented with the jack at all?

Wondering if its just a sound out jack that I could hook to an amp in my pack or if it has other unknown functions?

The jack is not a sound jack, unfortunately. It sends a signal pulse that was intended to trigger the electronics in the ill-fated, never produced, Matty Collector Proton Pack.

Someone on the GBFans boards has made a circuit that can connect it to other electronics circuits to do the same thing, but it does not transmit any sounds.
