Going with the Alien 3 version. You must be a company man.

Not really dude, my kit is black multicam. I went for a more tactical look.
My next plan is to build a second rifle based on the Colonial Marines game (ammo counter on the left).
I am unsure how I will paint that one, I'm not really a fan of Brown Bess...

I have only seen a few done in black and yours looks really nice.

Thank you sir.

I like it. but if I had a criticism its the amount of weathering. When all the edges are weathered like that it looks a bit "off" The way I do it is I lay the item (in this case an awesome pulse rifle) on its side on a table. anywhere it can reasonably touch when its on its side and jostled around is where I weather. That way the scraping looks realistic. I hope that makes sense. and this is NOT a knock on your paintjob - just sharing what I do for my scrapes on guns and such :)

I hear you dude. My original plan was to have a "pristine" black paintjob, as I see the shroud as being plastic, not metal (to reduce weight - makes sense for a futuristic weapon), but I kept getting a reaction between the two different layers (2 different brands of paint).
After retrying unsuccessfully 3 times, I went "**** it" and beat the crap out of it. Thank you for your input.

Wow. Two years...
Decided to tidy up my Matrix, but ended up going in yet another direction.
Inspired by the red one I found on the ‘net (not mine):

This is why I need more than one...
