i canceled my helmet preorders fearing that there would be deals to be had in the near future...im not sure what they are gonna have left once the fire sale starts but im full expecting boba rifle/helmets/stormie helmets/and plenty of mini helmets all deeply discounted...its just a matter of timing as far as when they become available (kinda like the vader deal)

I doubt the BF helmets will be half price before they even start shipping... MR is just getting rid of the excess stock with the older helmets

Just because they are sold out does not mean that they will all actually be shipped, many people place pre-orders and then cancel or have credit card problems before the product ships.

I called MR and verified that the stormtroopers and Fett helmets are not on clearance and are still on preorder status. that is strait from my sales rep to me. I can still order them (being a retailer).

I believe ortiz's point was that he believes those items will be clearanced before MR loses the right to sell them next year.
Personally I think MR will be carefully planning the release of newer items so they won't have to do that.
The Fett helmet is not sold out.

Exactly, they arent clearancing them yet as they havent shipped any.
At this point though, if you are patient, anything not 'sold out' in a month or 2 will most likely be clearanced...
