[Master and Commander] Floating Archipelago in the Shape of the Galapagos

A very quick prop, made in an afternoon in readyness for pudding:

Materials used were dark chocolate, custard, apple, matchmakers (chocolate sticks), icing and cocktail sticks.

The recipe was adapted from "Lobscouse and Spotted Dog", which is the culinary companion to the books/film. The version used in the film is, I believe, based around jelly, but ours failed horribly last time we tried it! The island were cast in RTV Silicone moulds.

Thanks, it was! It was consumed with quite a lot of port; normally it's the resin prop making that gives me the headaches!
