Mass Effect N7 Breather Helmet build- WIP photos

So I have started another N7 breather helmet build and I thought I'd make a build thread and share some WIP photos. Previous runs can be found on my page Hexed Props So as it was a rather spontaneous decision I don't have many pictures yet, but I'll take some more later on in the build.

So far I have scaled the helmet as this is a Pep one, printed it out and transferred it to foam. Next I dremelled and cut out the finer details with space for LED lights and began gluing the pieces using Bison contact cement. So far so good.

Hello RPF It's me again. Here is what I have been up to these days after work.
I have cutout the earpieces and sanded them to form, same as with the chin piece - which makes for a very comfortable chin rest before I attached it to the helmet.
And of course the build continued and is so close to completion i could almost feel it, but fatigue took its toll.

Hello RPF,
Last 4 days I have done a lot of work on the helmet, and found no time to post images - It has been dipped, painted, applied logos and had blue LED lights put into place. So here are 4 days worth of build photos. I haven't taken any yet with weathering, but i will post some higher quality finishing pictures when i get home and take them off the camera.

That's a nice looking helmet! I haven't played the mass effect series but I see a lot of stuff on here from them.
You mentioned bison cement, is that as good as barge? And is it American or Canadian? I tried to order barge from the states but the shipping is more than the cement itself, trying to find a relatively similar product possibly.

Truth be told I have never used Barge before. I am situated in Europe and it is out of my reach with shipping being unavailable to my country. Bison are a Netherlands manufacturer and they are of the strongest glues i have found on our market. The really tough EVA I use tears before the joint, so i am satisfied.
