Mass Effect 3 trailer!

lol. Well you kill 2 of them that tends to do it, especially with the egos they have. This is one franchise i can see going for a long time since there is so much unexplored space. I have a funny feeling that the ancient race that the reapers turned into the collectors isn't as dead as everyone thinks. I hope DC Direct hurries up and puts out the ME 2 action figures they've been promising for 6 months considering the new game is halfway here.

Lovely trailer, *knock on wood* here's hoping BioWare makes this game even better than No. 2...

Definitely has the potential to be brilliant. And now you have forced me to play ME2 again! :lol
 
I have to play 2 again to finish getting the easy to get achievements lol. This one should be really interesting, the 2nd one was so so. Maybe they'll throw us a bone and show Tali without her suit finally.
 
I'm excited.

The actual Spike VGA's were painful to watch. The jokes fell totally flat and there were too many famous people who had no idea how to host. Also, settings where there are just a bunch of famous people sitting around on tables don't usually work too well. There's never any excitement in those kinds of award shows.
 
And here I thought this series wouldn't fall under the "Earth is in danger! If we lose Earth, the universe will collapse!" trope. If there's an option to let Earth be destroyed, that's my pick 100%. Me being human and familiar with Earth be danged.

Also, females make the better Shepards.
 
I agree i only use female shephards. Especially since you can still score with the hot blue asari chicks lol. I'm betting there may be an option to let earth perish if you go the evil Shephard route.

LOL. My hubby hates the voice actor for the male Shepherd so he really only plays the female version.

And, yes, I'd be shocked and disappointed if there wasn't an option to let Earth get wasted. I mean, you didn't have to save the council at the end of the first one. No reason to expect that they'd not have the option to do something similar here.
 
I just hope this isn't the end of the franchise. Between it and Halo there are so many ways the storylines could expand, i mean space is huge and even the aliens haven't seen it all and they're ancient.
 
I'm pretty sure Bioware has said this is only the end of Shepard's trilogy, not ME.

Has anyone else followed any of the speculation threads on Bioware's site after the teaser images were shown? They had already figured out the sniper in the trailer was inside Big Ben just by the wrought iron fence tops around the building, detail on the clock face, etc.

I almost always choose a female version. Besides them being better to listen to, if I'm going to be staring at the backside of a character for hours on end, I'm going to choose the more visually appealing. Okay, so, I'm a guy :). I did make an exception on Mass Effect though. My first playthrough was the female Shepard (my paragon). For the renegade, I chose a male Shepard. I haven't gone through with the Renegade on ME2 yet.

I'd love to see an option where Shepard can sacrifice the Earth and/or other worlds to stop the Reapers. And to top it off, for future games, it'll load in the state of the universe off your save games. That would make it even more epic!
 
Still wishing that the first one was on PS3.

btw met the person who Samara was modeled after and did the motion capture. She's awesome.
 
Given the choice, I usually play a good guy in games. So it was with Mass Effect, and I played a male. On the second play through I chose all the renegade choices, and played a female.
 
She was the more interesting of them and was the only one who really didn't take things super serious at times. The others always are too serious. Though Garrus' character development from being stuck up was cool. I better play through again and make sure everyone survives this time.
 
i'm super stoaked. I'm hoping Kal;Reegar makes it back cuase i'm building a cosplay for him maybe admirl qwib qwib. haven't decided but it's gonna be bad ass building the first quarian cosplay suit.
 
Oh, blast it! Bioware you keep taking all my lunch money and forcing me to play your games for months on end! (I can't wait...)
