I am really going to avoid paint if possible, as a challenge, but if I did, I would use plastic dip to seal and then airbush creatix paint over that.

Nice work so far. It's coming along beautifully! Just one suggestion as far as painting goes:

If you keep it as is (simply foam with no paint), the red and white stripe (if you choose to paint it) down the right arm of his suit may look a little strange against the color of the foam. You may want to test a piece beforehand to see if it will look okay. If it doesn't, then I would suggest painting the entire suit.

But if you're not going to paint the stripe then forget my suggestion and keep up with the amazing work!

The current plan is to not seal it. All Foam work. I plan on using colored foamies for the details.

I am pretty happy with the way the foam is turning out. I did the detail work last night.

The logo has a neat layer effect. I ll try to get a better picture. I need to put the el wire in the back, and she should be good to go for Pittsburg con in two weeks.

Judging from the small burns on my fingers, I would go with hot glue.

Here are the templates I made for this project. The client has given me permission to release them.

That is the drawing I made.

The client was 5'10" so the template is scaled to him. It is 34 inches from the bottom of the tail to the top of the collar.

The other pieces were made using templates I found on the net from other people or, free handed myself. You'll have to root around for those.
