Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

I was going to agree, but if I recall the start of the season correctly, it looked like the person who got sent through on that episode was chosen from a group sitting around a table. I assume that group were all members.

I don't think that those were astronauts though, IIRC, that person was a "volunteer" from Hydra whom we didn't know was Hydra at the time and I think that he went directly through the portal at Hydra's castle or wherever they were at the time.

Some thoughts: I wonder if Fury is aware with the real history of Hydra? Does The Avengers base in NY know whats going on? I wonder if Heimdall is reporting all these new developments to Thor and Odin? It would make sense that he does cause of Inhuman involvement and if Asgard will intervene and help Earth?

In theory, yes to all of your questions. In practice, who knows, it all depends on how interconnected the powers that be at Marvel want AoS to be with the movies and whether or not they want AoS to have any part in driving the plots of the movies instead of just the movies influencing the show. Me personally, I wouldn't mind seeing events in AoS being at least mentioned in the Marvel movies, if not play a role in their plots.

Well, it's been a few days since I checked it, but you can obviously see that it was marked down from $45.99, which it was the other day.

It is exactly what it was when I initially posted my first response to you, that's why I said it was only $5 more than season one.

This season has been really hit or miss (more miss), but with this one... are they even trying anymore? Or are they purposefully trying to kill the ratings to cancel the show? Because that's what it feels like.

Agreed - I figured there would be a cliffhanger, just not quite like that.

If I were the predictin' sort, I'd say that as much as Coulson wants Ward dead, he'd be content leaving him stranded as the only human on a distant planet.

So who gets left behind next week? Coulson, Fitz or both? You know they have to leave someone there for 3 months between episodes...
