Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

It was ok, like others have said it's a Pilot, they could never go all in and show Cap/Ironman/Thor etc as regulars, then it would just be The Avengers TV show, I wouldn't be surprised if we get a cameo or 2 at some stage though, just to tie things in.
 
I'd rather see appearances from minor characters that have not appeared on screen than cameos from the stars of the Avengers.
 
The real tragedy is that the vintage Captain America trading cards are blood stained and not likely to get signed. I understand it took years to collect.
 
Well the real set without the blood stains were in his locker, still near mint and can probably get signed during Avengers: Age of Ultron ;).
 
I enjoyed it. Not great by any stretch, but as far as pilots go I've seen much worse. Hell, I was almost ready to bail on Breaking Bad after the first few episodes in season one, but I stuck with it and obviously the payoff has been more than worth it. I'll keep watching this for a while to see where it goes and hopefully it will deliver the goods.
 
On many shows there will be 3 to 4 male characters in a team along with only one female character.

Most of Whedon's TV shows have managed to maintain a good ratio of male and female characters, sometimes there are more female characters in certain scenarios than the male characters. It's one of the traits of Whedon's TV shows, which is evident in Agents of SHIELD as well.
 
Like some others I thought it was meh, but I'll keep on it to see how it goes.
Oh, and just an FYI, Ming-Na Wen IS the voice of Mulan both in the movies and the game Kingdom Hearts. ;):thumbsup :lol
 
I don't have much time to fit TV viewing in my schedule, with 3 kids and work. That being said, I usually stick to major network viewing because the standard they have to reach for ratings, are usually set a little higher. I thought this show fell below that bar, after viewing the pilot. I can imagine this show being on one of ABC's lesser cable channels like ABC Family.

Wait a minute. You think the standards major networks have are higher than the cable channels? I think you have that reversed because the only really good shows are on FX, AMC, HBO and Showtime. The only things I watch on the major networks these days are Parks and Rec, Survivor and S.H.I.E.L.D(for now). Everything that's actually worth watching is on the cable networks now.
 
I meant basic cable, sorry. Yes thats the way I feel about it. Thats a different topic all together though, so I won't get into that.

This show is outstanding! I'm liking the second episode even more than the first.

Every time Coulson mentions his return and Tahiti, he always says "It's a magical place."

Could there be more to Coulson than what even Maria Hill is aware of?
